Software
On this page you can find pointers to software which I have written as a private person.
So why did I stress the private above? Because this software is in marked contrast to my professional work; where the latter is usually well designed and artfully crafted, the former is mainly a hack. Pre alpha quality, at best, and mostly just "works-for-me". The code might be a jumble, documentation a mess, and part of the core functionality might even be missing. It was written at the spur of the moment, because I needed some functionality real fast now, or simply to prove something could be done, but without any pretence at style or design.
Still, all of the software referenced here is actually used by me, or was used at some time in the past. It proved useful for me, and it is presented here in the hope that it might prove useful for you, too, but with no warranty whatsoever (while I haven't suffered any ill effects so far, it is quite possible for all I know that each of those programs will blow your computer to smithereens). And in most cases you might not want to look at the code too closely, lest you'll be seized by abject horror...
All that being said, both bug-reports as well as feature requests are always welcome. Both can be send to bugs@svenutcke.de, as well as mails telling me what a great program I wrote. And if you are lucky (or enough people send in the same request), I might actually implement that feature you asked for...
